I will detail the good points first as there are so few it won't take me long. The staff are a friendly bunch and we had one decent night of entertainment where we were entertained by a drag act........but here goes for the bad bits...........
The food is really really bad, cheap ingredients, boring choice of menu with no imagination, I left most of my meals untouched and non of the staff even bothered to ask why I hadn't eaten i can only assume that they couldn't care less, I ordered the veggie option one night as there was nothing else that appealed when it arrived it looked like something you would find in the bottom of a toilet and it tasted burned as if it had been reheated over and over again it was supposed to be mushroom risotto and they had the nerve to serve it with boiled vegetables with those awful potatoes in skins, where was the rice? I complained to the waiter I said this is disgusting and he replied I KNOW I couldn't believe my ears.
The room we had was room number 55 on the second floor it's a family sized room which was a decent size for two of us but the decor was disgusting tatty old furniture wallpaper falling off bits of carpet missing in places oh and it was absolutely filthy. I could feel every spring in the mattress it was so old and thin. The bed sheets were clean but that's about it the room had not been cleaned, the hotel inspector would have had a field day, I won't even start on the bathroom it would take too long.
