we have stayed at this hotel 4 times now and like all other reviews excellent staff and Adriana was superb, yes the hotel is tired in places but that's what you would expect from a hotel group like Bay/Shearing. The only little problem we encountered was on the Friday night there was awful smell in the Ballroom and our room (59) which is on the ground floor, I think the hotel had issues with the drains. However all was well the next day.
This certainly hasn't put us off and are looking forward to our next stay. Thank you to the Manager and their staff. EXCELLENT.

Room Tip: Our room was on the ground floor just along from the Kitchens, Dining room and the Ballroom. It was...

Good meals, seemed to cater for everyone.
Room was nice, some of the corridors could do with a lick of paint.
Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful & took time to speak to the guests.
Adriana in the restaurant was a pleasant girl who always remembered you when you had your meals.

We asked for a room with walk in shower if possible for my disabled mother.
If I had to raise a concern, it was that in the room we had (106), all of the electric sockets were at floor level, not easy for an 80 year old to get to.

Pleasant sea view.
Good value for money with National Holidays - 4 days - £154 per person, including the supplement for the sea view room.

we have just returned from a 5 day stay at this hotel, it was a nice and relaxing , food was ok got better as the week went on , the hotel is in a lovely quiet spot with great views .. we upgraded to a sea view room which im glad about, although we were on the top floor Im glad we are able to get up and down stairs easily as there is only one lift which holds 2 people at a time ( shearings need to spend some money on improvements in the bathrooms and maybe get another lift put it if possible .. the rest of the hotel was nice .. the staff were very good and Aggi our waitress was lovely always smiling and couldnt do enough for you , we met some lovely people whilst there and most of them were older than us but great to chat to , didnt watch the entertainment as it was'nt our cup of tea ! but in all had good time . the only downfall of Shearings coach holiday was the 2 hour wait at Stretton for our coach to take and return us home .

very comfortable hotel, food very good, Nice quiet position overlooking the bay.We upgraded to a premier sea view room, which was well worth the money. The room was very large and airy, the only downside was the TINY bathroom, which you had to be very slim to get into to use.We would re-commend this hotel, one of the best shearings bay hotels.

Room Tip: re-commend upgrade to sea view room,or a premier sea view (no 111),if you dont mind a tiny bathroom...

Hotel is an ideal location on the Promenade and a short walk to the main shopping area.
The room had a sea view and was clean and tidy. The meals were of a very good quality with excellent and effecient waitress service. All the staff were friendly with efforts made to look after the guests. It was 3 day weekend break which was excellent value for money and would return. With Llandudno we visit once a year which has and is good shopping area an excellent part of North Wales which is worth a visit.

Room Tip: Second floor with a sea view
