Enjoyed visiting the mine on a rainy day in Llandudno. It is just a short walk from the tram halfway point. Once you get there, you can go at your own pace and wonder around. The information signs are interesting but not intrusive. Check out the video before to learn about the history and significance. You'll have to wear a hard hat.
These are not natural caves, so don't expect amazing rock formations, stalactites, or stalagmites. One disappointment is that there are many other parts of the cave that are closed off to visitors. This is obviously for safety reasons, but it would be nice to continue exploring. Overall a nice visit while in the area.
