Greeted by a friendly front desk team where nothing was too much trouble, we were given 318 and 320. Rooms were very clean and well made up. No dryer to be seen nor an iron but perhaps one would have been available should we have asked. Spa facilities were very good, and the restaurant food and service was very good. Only downside on the restaurant was not having been told when we booked in that we would have to book it, and for breakfast the chef or waiter (not sure who translated the order) didn't know what a sunny side up egg was, so it came very overdone and had been cooked on both sides. Otherwise a most enjoyable stay, and we would stay again.

Superb hotel the staff were fantastic all very friendly and helpful, we arrived early but as our room was ready we were permitted to go up to it. Water in the rooms along with tea and coffee, different flavours of tea. Brilliant. The room is comfortable and large, fluffy warm towels in the bathroom and robes in the wardrobe with slippers.
The meals were superb and plenty to eat, the hake on the Saturday night had to be eaten to appreciate it, absolutely delicious, the restaurant staff were so attentive and the restaurant manager was brilliant. Got to know his "customers" and was always there if you needed anything. We loved our weekend and hope we can go back next year.

Room Tip: We love room 218 it has a bay window where you can sit and look at the sea. It was not noisy, even though there had been a wedding party there on the Sunday night with a disco.

Booked the sea front family room . Large double with adjoining twin . Perfect . Pool facilities a little dated but very clean , children were welcome . High tea on the terrace but we also formally dined and service was very friendly and accommodating to the children . First class breakfast . Waitress served cooked breakfast and an excellent continental breakfast with excellent home made marmalade and porridge . Enjoyed lovely martinis on the terrace . We visited the other 4 stars and I would say this one was the best

Stayed here in April just for one night on Easter Saturday. We had a top sea front room which was excellent with our very own balcony which in the summer would be superb. The room was lovely and comfortable with lovely sea views.Breakfast was first class and as it was Easter Sunday we were given a Easter bunny each which was a very lovely guesture.I would stay in this hotel again as it was central to all amenities and very welcoming.

Superb hotel right on the sea front. All the facilities you would expect in this class of hotel. Pleasant ambience' good restaurant' not cheap as you would expect but food nicely presented. Staff in restaurant a little under-trained but made up for that with great attitudes. The only personal disappointment was the lack of local Ales available' only one' very good tho it was! Would be nice to see a selection of proper beers not just the industrial lagers and bitters. Will return.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us amd pleased you enjoyed the local Ale in the Bar. We do have 4 different types of local Ale and will look into why all 4 were not available whilst you were here and look forward to seeing you again soon.
