We booked a "champagne weekend" in the Imperial and we were not disappointed. Our room, although at the back, gave an excellent view over the rooftops to the mountains along the coast, with some amazing sunsets. It was also bright and clean, with well appointed furniture and flat screen TV.
The breakfasts were superb, with local produce on offer and bright, friendly staff, both local and international!
Our dinner, as part of the deal, was memorable for the quality and presentation of the food and it was a pleasure to sit in the verandah room and watch life going by.
We'll definitely be back!

Stayed here again and the room was lovely again.Very clean with lots of little extras, gowns, slippers ,bottled water etc. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. Always dissapointed with the harpist and piano playing , which is not for everyone. Something a bit more contemporary would be nice .Parking is a problem....even with a disabled badge we managed to get a ticket outside! I have to challenge this, but it leaves a bad taste to the break.

Stayed for one night as in the area with work. On arriving was shown to room on 5th floor. Room looked as if recently modernised. Large 6ft bed, 2 armchairs and coffee table together with wardrobe, dressing table and free wifi. The bathroom was really spacious with plenty of toiletries. Did not eat in the restaurant in the evening but had breakfast in the morning. Excellent attentive service with nothing too much trouble. Sat in the verandah area overlooking the sea. Had a full cooked breakfast with fresh coffee but plenty of other options available. Hotel also has leisure facilities but I did not have time to use

Stayed here for two nights in July we upgraded to sea view and was excellent,
Car parking impossible had to park car about half mile from hotel,
We were looking forward to evening meal but it was very average , with a grumpy waiter ,but again had lovely view looking over the sea. The stay was very expensive for what we had and the hotel needs refurbishment Llandudno lovely and will return , will try a different hotel next time

Room Tip: sea view a must

Went for a short 3 night break at the imperial hotel Llandudno in August 2012 with my disabled wife and to see Ken Dodd at a show in the town.
Hotel was 4 star and met the standard in terms of food and accommodation. Staff very friendly and helpful. I enquired re car parking before booking and was told they had a small car park which often got full but that there was ample on street car parking surrounding the hotel, I emphasised the parking issue was important as my wife is disabled.
We got there on the Saturday afternoon and the small car park was full. There was no available car parking anywhere near the hotel and we had to park about 600 yards from the hotel in a church pay & display car park and then struggle with suitcases to the hotel. This is where we had to leave the car parked until the following Sunday afternoon which was our first opportunity to park on the road outside the hotel. So if any of your party are disabled then I would not recommend this hotel - the staff were helpful but the parking problem was not solvable as the crux of the matter was the existing car park is woefully inadequate for such a large hotel.

I stayed at this hoitel for 3 nights recently, on a business trip. The level of comfort and style in the hotel is exceptional. The rooms are huge, the dining area is very pleasant, the food is very good indeed and the staff are helpful. The car-park, however, is virtually non-existent, so you may have to park in the street or on the sea-front. That is more than made up for, however, by the feeling of luxury you get as soon as you step through the front door. Llandudno is a very clean, very pleasant town, and the Imperial is a high-quality yet friendly hotel which I highly recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea-view room - the hotel is almost on the promenade.

We stayed at the Imperial for one Saturday night in early August. The hotel does not have a very big car park and it proved tricky finding a space on the street. On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and gave us an upgrade to a suite on the first floor at the front of the hotel. The room was large and comfortable, but very old fashioned. We were concerned that the traffic along the promenade might disturb our sleep but in fact after about 9 pm the promenade was completely quiet. Surprising in a 'resort' town during August! The swimming pool/spa was small and not particularly well maintained but the breakfast was very good with lovely full 'Welsh' breakfast freshly cooked to order. Overall we were quite satisifed with our choice of hotel.
