We stayed here on our first visit to Llandudno. What a lovely place, and we will be back. The hotel is right on the seafront, and easy to find, parking limited, but free parking on prom, so no problems there.
Rooms were lovely, very clean and comfortable, fab bathroom.
The breakfast was top class, cooked iis to order, and arrived hot and one of the nicest we had ever had. Staff were excellent, and very helpful. I can recommend this beautiful hotel with confidence.

Room Tip: Rooms on front have amazing views. Book with hotel (we did'nt) - as they have some good offers o...

We have stayed in this hotel 5 or 6 times previously and we have always found our stay there to be very enjoyable. It has a good location, an excellent restaurant and has very comfortable rooms, although they can sometimes be much too warm during the night.
HOWEVER, if you like to enjoy a relaxing 'nightcap' in your hotel bar at the end of an evening out then forget it! We were told at 10.50pm that because we were the only guests wishing to use the bar that they had decided to close it early, but WE were GUESTS and we DID wish to still use the bar! We were told that if we required a drink we should contact the night porter. This happened again on our second night, even though we were residents who had been paying the £4.20 per pint for a lager which costs 50% less elsewhere in Llandudno.
On our final night we returned to the hotel at 10.45pm to find the bar was now already closed and the barman leaving hastily with his coat on. Ironically as he passed us he wished us "Goodnight" and enquired, "Have you had an enjoyable evening!?" . This sends out two messages:
Firstly, at the Imperial hotel the bar does not provide consistent service, but instead provides service dependent on the number of guests wishing to use it and consequenly the amount of profit to be made.
Secondly, the convenience of the paid bar staff is clearly more important than the service offered to the paying guest.

Would like to leave a review because of the excellent service we recieved at the Imperial. The room was a little small (well actually it was very small) but a large bathroom. Room size was not an issue to us, but I can see it could be for people with mobility issues. Has a look in other rooms, and seemed like we had drawn the short straw!
Room was very clean, and nice reception area, lovely outside area.
Overall had a great stay

We stayed for 3 nights and had an free offer of fish and chips for lunch each day which we didn't manage to Avail ourselves of due to pressures of work. We ate one night in the hotel which was pleasant food. Breakfasts were fine with a good range of choices.
Our room was small but we wanted a balcony and were offered an alternative room if we didn't mind not having one. The balcony allowed us to enjoy the sun and was sheltered from the wind. The room was clean and the bathroom large! The swimming pool was a bonus and although it felt a little odd to be walking around the hotel in the rather skimpy bathrobes from the room it is possible to go to the pool without entering the public areas. The lack of changing rooms is a shame and walking back dripping wet seems a little strange.
the hotel decor is a little tired but certainly acceptable and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The offers makes this very reasonably priced.

I stayed at this hotel with some trepidation, as it was the first time I had travelled alone, but I didn't have to worry as all the staff were very friendly, I booked in for a three night bed, breakfast and evening meal break and was shown a single room on the side of the hotel, from which I could just see the sea, the room was small, as you would expect for a single but it had a three quarter size bed, which was very comfy and a good size en-suite bathroom, (shower over the bath)and all the other facilities you require, as I run a 4* B&B myself, you are always looking for things that are wrong, but I can honestly say that it is a very well run hotel, with very helpful staff, and the food was excellent, I would have no hesitation on staying here again, either alone or hopefully with my husband next time (work commitments prevented him coming this time) .

We stayed at this hotel for four nights last weekend over the Jubilee Bank Holiday.

We occupied one of the disabled rooms with a wet-room,which was very suitable for my husband's needs. Although the room was over the back of the hotel it was still very nicely furnished. Obviously a view over the Promenade would have been my preference, but with the hotel full, I didn't get chance to find out if the hotel has any disabled rooms with a front-view.

The food was excellent, with very good choice, and excellent service from the staff. The presentation of the food was extremely good and worthy of a high-class hotel anywhere. Everything was hot, from the plates themselves onwards, and there was no faults to find there.

All in all I would visit the hotel again without any second thoughts.

Well done to everyone who was at work during this extremely busy weekend over the Jubilee.

We arived at the hotel to find the car park at the rear full, it was 3.30pm, so we parked across the road and paid the meter. After 4pm it is free until 10 am. We had a lovely room overlooking the sea. The bed had a memory foam mattress and was very comfortable, there is also tea or coffee facilities in the room. We had booked an evening meal in the restaurant and the service was excellent. The food was delicious, when it arrived, it was beautifully cooked and presented. In the morning for breakfast, again the service was good. When we go away this is what we want from a hotel. We were touring and the next hotel we went to was the same rating and price, but the standard was a world away in experience. We look forward to going back to the Imperial, and this time we shall stay longer.
