Book ahead and get there early as the toboggan run gets busy, the queues get longer later on in the day.

We had 2 teenage girls with us (12 and 15 yrs old) and we all really enjoyed ourselves. You get 2 runs on the toboggan run - it takes you from the bottom of the run to the top via a motorised chain then lets you go at the top, freestyle all the way. It takes 1 run to get used to the speed and sensation of going down with nothing to hold you in the seat other than a stick in between your knees but then you get a second chance at it.

Adventure golf looks tame and for kids but is actually a good laugh and some holes are fiendishly awkward, esp when you throw a challenge onto the mix (like challenging 2 teens to get out of the washing up that night if they get more points than the adults).

Sno-tubes: What can I say? Brilliant fun for half an hour for kids of all ages from 5 yrs old to 99 yrs young. As long as you don't mind (and are able to) dragging your tube back up the short but steep hill to start the descent all over again. Basically you sit inside an over-large tyre, grab onto the handles while the guy grabs hold and throws your tyre down the hill. I challenge anyone not to scream while on the 1st descent.

You even get value for money in the on-site cafe with plenty of choice in the menu and a full plate to boot. My cousin sprained her ankle (while running downhill to the toboggan run) & they gave her an ice pack made from frozen slushy - she drank it after so nothing was wasted! You're not tied into eating there and there is plenty of room to sit down & have a picnic.

The only point I would make that could improve the site - it would be a good idea to have a car park further down and for some form of transport (similar to the 'train' that takes you between the beaches in Llandudno) as the car park at the top gets busy, especially on nice days. Oh, and be prepared for a VERY STEEP hill to get there!

All in all, well worth a visit and not too expensive. Family ticket (2 adults, 2 kids) for all 3 activities was £40, £10 each for a full day of FUN!

Was looking forward to visiting here today whilst in Llandudno. However, it was quite busy when we got there, but my partner asked the worker on the toboggan how long would it be and he was not very friendly and helpful. Then he went to look at the snow tubing and the lady who was working on there was even ruder. My partner asked about them and she rudely replied its all booked. There were snow tubes left at the side and not being used. We are glad that we didn't pay to go on the snow tubes because it was so disorganised and everyone was just getting rings and standing in each others way. Even the children were just grabbing them. Didn't look safe or organised at all and the slope was small and you went slow. Would not have been worth the money.

We nipped to Happy Valley and the ski slopes and spent a lovely morning there. Apart from the skiing they do tubing (which is a big inner tube that you sit in and they push you down) but book early as this gets full quite quickly and the tobboganning which the 3 fearless members of my family went on over and over, well somebody had to hold the dog! It's not cheap at £5.00 for 2 goes each but great fun and something you don't see everywhere. Great scenery, great views and lovely gardens. Parking is free too and theres a cafe/pub which doesn't do a bad soup n sandwich.
