Me and my partner went here for valentines, we had a starter and main and a few drinks. After the meals we were too full for dessert but food was well cooked and reasonable prices. At the top end of town so many don't walk up but it is definitely worth the walk. Can't wait for our next meal there.

I visited this restaurant on Sunday, the food was delicious, well presented, service superb, have been to this restaurant a very long time ago, but still would recommend this to everyone. I had lemon sole in a cream sauce, vegetables perfectly cooked and a very good bottle of house wine. Hopefully will be back in the not too distant future

We visited at lunchtime on bank holiday Monday. The meal started well. The staff were welcoming altho they seemed few in number and it took quite some time for our order to be taken.

Slight blip - we ordered a couple of drinks - one of which was a coke. It was completely flat. It was replaced when I asked, but the point is that it's obvious if a bottle of coke has gone flat.

The starters were great - chick livers and deep fried mushrooms. And after our long wait to order they arrived quickly. The issue on waiting staff seemed to be the system, with only one woman being allowed customer contact - we guessed she was co-owner. Other staff brought food or cleared away but when we were waiting many people came in and our waitress became very busy.

The main courses however were a huge disappointment. Spaghetti carbonara came with a watery and rather tasteless sauce. My wife loaded it with salt but it really wasn't palatable so she gave up. My Sis Kebab came with rice and a tomato sauce. The lamb was ok - and the rice was excellent but the sauce sat in a pool of water. This was rather off putting.

The final comment is that the soap dispenser in the gents didn't work, a bit picky maybe but seems to illustrate the point about lack of attention to detail.

Having been before and enjoyed it we were bitterly disappointed when we went yesterday. The service was very hit and miss, some got bread, others (including us) didn't. The waitress was dippy to say the least. She asked if we wanted anything else before our main course arrived. The starters were good but the mains disappointing. The owner asked if we were waiting for anything as we hadn't started so we pointed out that we were waiting for our veg. She said that the waitress would bring them when she had finished being told off for poor service! Pot, kettle, wake up and smell the roses spring to mind Dear. Kleftico under done, veal like shoe leather. Pudding was bland and overpriced. Won't be back any time soon if ever.
