As piers go, it is a pier. It was only open on Sunday and most of the stalls and amusements were closed. For the family all this was overshadowed by the Dance game in the arcade. Watching the missus perform with my awesome disco son was a unique experience. Clearly he did not inherit her sense of rhythm. And as for my efforts... We had the crash trolley on red alert. We are now saving up for our next bout of public humiliation. If you are over 60, check your will is in order and go out smiling.

Fairly typical seaside pier, not much open in the winter months, decent enough walk along it and back to blow the cobwebs away

We like Llandudno and enjoy a walk along its Victorian pier, but not today! It's closed and for no apparent reason. If the pier does need to be closed, then would the managers please give a reason; a simple notice on the gates would suffice. The pier is advertised as being open all year and so to find it closed, without reason, was a bit of a surprise. The need to close for general repairs or maintenance is understandable, or even high winds in the winter ........ but just to find the gates locked is not really acceptable at any time, especially when no reason is posted. A message to the pier management: please keep up the good work that you do; the pier is a great asset to Llandudno, but when you close it, please give some information as to why. I'm sure that both locals and visitors alike would appreciate that.

On a warm summers day this is a great place to stroll down and enjoy the sites, get an icecream or a coffee and even check out the gift shops, you will not be disappointed.

Visitied this pier as a child for a few years and then had a very long gap before visiting it again and to be fair not much had changed in 40+ years. Could do with a few more attractions but this would probably ruin its victorian feeling. Kept very clean, as is all of Llandudno and the view from the end of the pier looking back into Llandudno crescent is superb.
