Description: The cafe is located right near the beach and Llandudno pier. We have an ice cream kiosk outside and offer a take out menu (which can be subject to waiting times during busy periods). Our most popular dish is fish and chips, a seaside classic! The staff are a close knit bunch with many of us returning year after year! We are a friendly bunch and there is a real family atmosphere amongst the staff. A few of the staff are even actually related! We have a fantastic health rating of 5 stars and many of our senior staff have a collection of health and safety certificates which can be seen on the wall downstairs. We have plenty of space with 16 tables inside, 3 outside and even space downstairs! There are two kitchens, the fish and chips are cooked separately downstairs. They are that popular we need an extra kitchen to cook them in! The main downfall is that the bathrooms are downstairs but we always offer assistance navigating the stairs or directions to the nearest ground floor bathroom!

“Oven chips..”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013 via mobile

Cod tasted nice very very small portions...my wife doesn't like cod so no other alternatives available...peas were bland no taste..biggest let down of all are what I can only call oven chips. ..hardly traditional but hey ho filled a gap and were still alive. Unfortunately we wont be calling again..try giving more than 15 chips..everything cooked fine no worries there. .

“Disgusting”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

Already spent too much time and money here, so I'll keep it quick. The worst fish and chips I have ever had. Disgusting. Horrible. Never go here

“Tastiest all day breakfast!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

A very clean and friendly place with a good clean tasty all day breakfast! Looks can be deceiving at this cafe, could do with a touch up on the look but behind kitchen doors is where the magic happens! Definately recommend the breakfasts!

“Excellent place to eat and relax, also good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

We were a party of twenty two and tried to book our party into The Palladium aWitherspoon Restaurant,we approached the manager and she could not accommadate our party on the Saturday at 4.00pm. I approached the staff at the Holmes Place and they asked the manager if they could accommodate our party, the downstairs cafe was not open but she had no hesitation in opening the cafe downstairs and even moved extra tables to fit everybody in. The manager began introducing us to the menu on offer(everything available),she then asked for drink orders within minutes they were on the table. The manager recommended items on the menu and had an excellent knowledge of locally sourced products, she then took all our orders and within five minutes our orders started to arrive on the table,it was fresh, hot and extremely enjoyed by all the party. The upstairs cafe was also busy but this did not detract from the personal service we received,an excellent place to eat with a friendly and pleasant atmosphere would definitely use again. WELL DONE TO ALL THE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
