“Traditional and well presented food”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

Lovely, well cooked food. Very small capacity so only a couple of other diners, which is nice when you want to enjoy a quiet meal. I had the local lamb, which was absolutely beautiful.
Sadly it's not quite warm enough for a few drinks outside afterwards, give it a month or two and the cute little seats out the front will be full of revelers!

“Oldest pub in LLandudno!!”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

Up by the tram station this is a lovely looking traditional pub offering equally good home cooked food. Lots of room to sit out on a warm evening. Nice big open fire and good selection of beers. The only negative were the ladies loos. The toilet roll dispenser was broken and lay on the floor with the toilet paper-looked bad and could have been tidied up until could be fixed properly!! Seemed very popular and would return.

“my birthday treat”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

we went to the kings head again, because we knew we would get an excellent meal, it was very well presented and piping hot, the lady who served us was very pleasant and friendly. I must say the wine was good as well.It was a cold wet night, but inside it was warm and friendly.

“Deliciuos Melt in the Mouth Beef and Lamb”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

We booked a table in The Kings Head as we found out they have a brand new Chef and we were inquisitive to what the food would be like. We were not let down. We had three courses. Starting with Lamb Kofta and I had a Black pudding sat on a bacon and risto cake. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the starter we looked forward to the mains. I had the Braised Lamb Shoulder which was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The meat just fell apart and melted in the mouth. My partner had the Beef Shin and that equalled the Lamb in all respects.
For pudding we had Rhubarb and Blackberry Crumble and Bread and Butter pudding. Again presented Beautifully and tasted yummy. We highly recommend the Kings Head for a meal out. The service was fantastic and we went home with full and happy tummies!
