The pub is situated a few metres away from the tram and we went here because it was a dog friendly pub. Dogs are allowed in the tiled bar area but not in the carpeted areas which is fair enough.

They have a nice selection of beers and ales along with the usual other big brands, The bar area has large tables and stools, as well as lower tables which are close to an open log fire. So the atmosphere is lovely. In addition there are locals and tourists which also makes for a friendly pub.

The food we ordered was nicely presented, tasted good and fresh and was reasonably priced bearing in mind its location to the tram.

My only negative point would be the separation of the bar and food for ordering, which makes things a little complicated. In the end you can pay for your drinks with the food but you have to order food in one place and drinks in another. I have never found that kind of set up friendly for the customer, but overall it wouldnt stop me from going back.

I would recommend a meal or drinks here.

Eaten here quite a few times.food is above and whilst not a gastro pub its hearty fare and good value. Great choice of wine and ales and always a great atmosphere with a roaring log fire. ...try a good walk around the orme with here as the final destination. .you won't regret it!

Didn't eat here but we did drink! What a great find in LLandudno, This place is a real pub with great beer, a huge fire and plenty of atmosphere. Its a little bit off the main drag but worth a 5 minute stroll to reach. Just head for the tram station. Heaven!

had been recommended to some friends when they were on a visit from Canada so we took them for a meal . Great old pub just by the Tram station, The walk up had us gasping for a pint but we knew it would be an easy walk downhill afterwards. We were lucky to be there on a Quiz night and had a really good laugh. You can choose to eat in the main pub areas or in the more formal(but still easy-going) restaurant at the back of the pub.
The portions are huge, locally sourced and the chef is so accommodating that you could practically make up your own menu! Really friendly service and a place we will be happy to visit again next time we are in the area. ...I should also mention that the toilets were spotless, something that matters a lot to this reviewer!

This is the perfect place for sitting outside watching the world or the trams go by while enjoying a lovely glass of wine or cold beer .If the weather is a bit chilly, they are only too happy to put on the patio heaters, if its really cold then inside is a lovely burning log fire. They also serve good food at reasonable prices. Perfect!
