“Wow a amazing meal!!!!!”
Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

Little four table bistro as part of a guesthouse. Really good locally sourced food and a fantastic bargain at only £15.50 per head for 2 courses. Friendly waiter/ owner. Wine list was a little limited but that shouldn't take away from what was a really good and very surprising meal.

“Still the juwel in the crown”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

A couple of years ago we enjoyed being spoilt by Neil’s hospitality and his wife’s skills as a chef. To our luck, nothing has changed since and you still get a decent 2 or 3 course dinner with lovely sea views. Unfortunately, portions sizes are huge so couldn’t manage the dessert this time – be sure to leave room for those, they are incredibly good. Quality of food and combination of different flavours are amazing and although the menu is limited, there’s something to please every taste. They don’t do a lot of tables here, so be sure to book ahead in the main season.

“Delightful!”
Reviewed July 4, 2013 via mobile

The Carmel Bistro is a delightful little restaurant near the end of the lovely Llandudno promenade. The menu, although not extensive, has something to suit most palates. We both chose the rump steak for our main course and they were cooked to perfection. The accompanying sauces were delicious. Service was friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. The Carmel will certainly be our first choice next time we're in Llandudno.

“A little gem”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

We had dinner here twice during our recent four nigth visit to Lllandudno - which is in itself a recommendation. The food is imaginatively prepared from fresh ingredients when you order. The end result is delicious, and fairly priced. Mine host makes you very welcome, and looks after you well, whilst his wife (?) busies herself in the kitchen. The bistro is very small, so do book before you go. As it is at the less popular end of the seafront, it is a long walk for most people but very well worth it!

“Absolutely outstanding food!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at this hotel, so the first nite we planned to go for Chinese but once we saw what the bistro had to offer we decided to eat there. We made a great choice, the food was cooked to perfection, and presented brilliantly. We had pâté, steak and have to say both dishes were the best I've had from anywhere. Well done to the chef!! The service was brilliant, always asked of there was anything else or if you we're enjoying the meal. This bistro is somewhere I'd advise anyone to go.....2 courses for £15.50 was excellent value! And the dessert were naughty but nice too!
