We came to Llandudno for two days and ended up eating in the Asia on both nights, it was simply too good to miss the opportunity for a meal there. We like Indian food and both meals there were better than any we have had in the UK. Service was good, even though the restaurant seemed a bit short staffed on the second night, and the owner was excellent: courteous, helpful, and more than willing to explain more about the dishes. We can highly recommend the Southern Indian garlic chilli chicken, the Naga Naga curry, as well as the exotic duck starter. The highlight however was the homemade vegetable pickle with the poppadums - just delicious!

On our 2nd visit to this Llandundo restaurant we enjoyed it so much that we went there twice within 3 days. Don't bother trying anwhere else if you love Indian food. This is the best in our opinion and the staff are freindly and helpful as well.

The service is great the food is perfect (not had a bad meal yet). The quantity you get is just right and the presentation of the whole place is very nice. We are regular visitors to the Asia restaurant and we are very happy we can now have this type of cuisine at such a great standard. (Really nice mixed Rogan Josh yesterday!!) Thank you Asia :)

As someone who lives in Llandudno, and is also in the Catering and Hospitality trade, up until the Asia opened ive felt we've suffered a lack of a good Indian Restaurant in the area. In there own way they are ok, but the service in most i dont feel is that great, and the meal choice is the usual Kormas, Massalas, Madras' etc. Then the Asia opened. I cant begin to say how welcome they make you feel when you walk in. You can either go straight to your table or have a drink by the bar whilst studying the Menu. The Menu itself needs a good study as there are so many dishes to choose from. The 'signature dishes' are fantastic, most of which id never heard of before. The Naga Naga with Chicken or Lamb has become my favourite - a Hot Curry - but with a great deal of flavour. For starters there is a great variety too - Meat, Fish, Indian style Kebabs etc. If you do just want to stick with what you know you can still have the dishes you find everywhere else but give the signature dishes a try. The rice and breads on offer are great as well. I normally have a Keema Nan but they also do a Keema Paratha which has become my favourite now. I have read a couple of reviews regarding having to wait some time for your meal. On some evenings they are exceptionally busy and again as someone who knows a fair bit about catering, on busy nights, with everything being freshly cooked a bit of a wait may occur. But if you've got good company and looking forwards to a freshly cooked - not microwaved meal which is what more and more people seem to expect- whats wrong with taking your time????? The service throughout is always attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Give the Asia a go if you are in Llandudno.

Having read the reviews and the fact that its No1 we were really looking forward to our visit. Not great!!!! At the table we waited!!! Our drinks never arrived so we had to go to the bar and collect them ourselves, we had to call a waiter over after about 15 mins to take our food order. One of the party ordered a drink twice and in the end went back to the bar agin and collected it!
Although the food was good it was not any more special than a number of restaurants we have visted......although as we had waited over an hour for our main course it tasted great, when they could get the crockery onto the table as they had never removed the starter plates!
Would we go back again???? no a rush. Cinnamon Lounge in Colwyn Bay is far better!
