Haven't been to The Cottage Loaf for food for a few years despite being local to the area. Decided to eat here yesterday following recommendations from friends over the last few months that the food was delicious - they weren't wrong!

Arrived about 4pm to find the pub absolutely heaving and thought we were going to have to find somewhere else, however a member of staff told us we were welcome to use a table that wasn't reserved until early evening. Food was ordered at the bar and arrived promptly and absolutely boiling. I had the leek, potato and cheese bake which was delicious, already want to return to have it again!

Only downside was as it was so busy there was a large group of quite loud people which made it hard to hold a conversation but only to be expected on a busy Saturday afternoon!

Apparently there is an extension due to open soon which will no doubt help accommodate the demand which is definitely deserved. Will return again in the future for sure.

To be very brief, excellent choice of beers, wines and soft drinks.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
Varied menu using local produce cooked to perfection and reasonably priced.
Well worth a visit.

Went to "the Loaf" for a light lunch with my wife and two kids, having heard good reviews!
Kids had the sausage and mash (sausages and other meat from butcher next door, can't get much more local than that!!)
I had the beef in mustard sauce on ciabatta with triple cooked chips!
Everything was wonderful, nicely presented, chips were amazing!
Will return!

We visit Llandudno fairly often and our regular place to eat has closed down. We chose this after consulting Trip Advisor.

3 adults and a child on a Sunday lunchtime. We hadn't booked and there were no free tables. However we waited about 10 mins and a reservation didn't turn up (and couldn't be contacted) so their table came free.

3 roasts and a childrens' meal. Roasts were the best we had in a long time {beside my own of course :) }

Prices were reasonable, service was very good. Will be our place to eat in town for future day trips.

Went here twice, enjoyed the food. We have a two year old daughter and she enjoyed it. High chair supplied, plenty of choice both for child and adults. Nice pub atmosphere. If I lived here I would go and iam very fussy.
