“Fabulous pub. Great food superb service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

Came for lunch and had high expectations from previous reviews. We were not disappointed. If you're in the area it's well worth finding this place out. Great choice of local beers. Excellent freshly produced food. 10/10 all round.

“Went for Live Music, stayed for the food...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

I'd read numerous reviews that this was the best venue for live music in Llandudno, but when we stopped in to inquire about the schedule the barkeep told us they'd discontinued it to 'concentrate on their food' instead. We checked out their menu and decided to return for dinner---we were not disappointed! I had the small fish and chips dinner-----which was fresh with deliciously crunchy batter and housemade tartar sauce. Decent mushy peas which were NOT made from canned peas, and great chips with malt vinegar on the table! My husband chose a sirloin and it was cooked just a bit longer than the 'medium' he'd requested, but it was tender and flavorful and the housemade peppercorn sauce was really delicious! We shared a salad with their house dressing and it was very nice-----fresh gourmet greens and vegetables with a balsamic-based dressing. Very casual place------order and pay and the bar and the waitstaff brings your order to your table when its ready.

“Great grub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

First visit for food and wasn't disappointed A party of 14 and we couldn't fault it. Excellent choices on the menu, great service and food was very good quality. The lamb was great and I can highly recommend the burger. Nice fat chips as well!

“Great Atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2013

We have either had a drink or dined at this pub several times and have never been disappointed. It is situated just off the Main Street with a council car park right opposite. The menu is quite varied just recently we had the light bites menu I had the Welch Rarebit and Sylvia the small Fish and Chips together with a nice pint of cask from the wide range on offer and a soft drink the cost was £18.35 served up within 10 minutes on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Not as cheap and cheerful was Wetherspoons next door but good value nevertheless. It has the old world charm of a proper pub albeit the building was a bakery in earlier times. Several cask beers on offer at reasonable prices. My only suggestion would be to keep the menu prices competitive please.

“Good Food and Beer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

Coming from Worcestershire we are spoilt for choice for nice places to eat and drink like this. We stayed in Conwy and googled to find somewhere nice to eat. We were not disappointed. Well worth the visit our meals were excellent and also the beer and wine met if not exceeded our expectations. Would certainly visit again when in the area, But its best to book as it is a popular place..
