We have just returned from a family holiday at The Tynedale Hotel, what can I say but Faultless! The hotel is very well presented and very well run and organised. The hotel is spotless and the food is plentiful and of good quality with a good choice of menu. The staff are pleasant and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and we instantly felt welcome. The decor is excellent and tastefully done. Well Done The Tynedale and Thankyou for a wonderfull holiday that we will never forget. I recommend this hotel to all age groups, i was on a coach trip with my sister and our parents and we enjoyed it just as much as them!

Room Tip: room 45 lovely sea view and a very comfortable easy chair!

We have just had 4 nights in this lovely welcoming hotel. It was recommended by a friend who had stayed earlier this year, they were part of a coach party so he was unsure what it would be like as an independent traveler. We were greeted with a smile by the receptionist who offered to collect our luggage and store it until our room was ready, we were early arrivals. We left our luggage and went for a walk, when we returned our cases were out side our room. We were invited to complementary afternoon tea, freshly baked cake and tea, what a great touch after your journey.
Every aspect of the hotel is done to a very high spec, we were on the top floor, but this is as well looked after as the rest of the floors not at all tired, well decorated, new carpets and rooms spacious, and spotlessly clean.
We were on a dinner, b&b rate, the restaurant was busy as the hotel was almost full, but still the service, food and attention was superb and a varied appetising menu (different every night). We felt very welcome each time we arrived for our meals, the staff took time to talk to us and asked about our day, they all seemed very happy as a team and helped each other out.

Room Tip: If you do not want to take advantage of the evening entertainment, then ask for a room on the 3rd fl...

We have just returned from an overnight stay at the Tynedale Hotel in preparation for taking a large group of friends to the hotel in 2014.
We were absolutely bowled over by every aspect of the hotel and being ex restaurateurs and lecturer in Hospitality and Catering we are quite critical!
The attention to detail and the way our initial enquiry was handled was second to none.
On our arrival at the hotel we had a professional, friendly welcome from the reception team and we were offered complimentary beverages and cake (homemade!). Our luggage was taken care of and taken up to our room. As we are taking a party to the hotel next year, after meeting Nathan and Tracey (owners) Tracey took us on a tour of the hotel, showing a selection of rooms from the largest to the smallest, all of which were furnished to a high standard with excellent bathrooms and attention to detail. The high standard of housekeeping in all areas of the hotel was really noticeable, the Restaurant "gleamed" and we were informed that this area was due to be refurbished, many hotels don't look as good after refurbishment! Delightful lounge and restaurant and public areas of which Tracey has done all the interior design on are brilliant! Well done!
Many hotel restaurants should take note that the Tynedale does not rest on its laurels and is continually re investing in the business. We have stayed in many 4 star (corporate) hotels to see public areas looking faded, worn and tired...not so at the Tynedale. No wonder we struggled for a booking next year and the Trip Advisor scores are so high!
Staff (or rather the team) should be congratulated. What we found evident was their real pride in the hotel and a desire to deliver 110% service to their guests. Nathan and Tracey were "hands on" and it was evident they lead the team by example, nothing was too much trouble. We noticed whilst sat having a drink that staff continually kept public areas clean and tidy and anticipated customers needs (eg carrying drinks for guests, assisting the disabled, etc ) Staff had time to chat and talk to guests but were not intrusive.
The food at lunch, dinner and breakfast were to an extremely high standard and beautifully presented. At breakfast try the Omelette Arnold Bennett, it was superb, as was the porridge with brown sugar, fresh cream and whisky!
The entertainment on the evening we stayed was Morgan Reeves, who trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. His repertoire from Opera to modern popular music, including songs from the musicals was brilliant, on top of this he engaged with his audience with brilliant humour (if you visit ask him to tell you about the chicken!)
In conclusion we are exceedingly proud to be taking our group to stay at the hotel next year, our only disappointment was that we could only stay one night as the hotel was on 100% occupancy.
Congratulations Nathan & Tracey and the whole team

Room Tip: Sea view rooms a bonus, but all rooms and bathrooms are to an exceedingly high standard of cleanline...

A wet day in Llandudno today, so what a great find for our afternoon coffee and cake!
Reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and soon had us seated at a lovely table by the window in the very pleasant and comfortable lounge bar. The waitress was both helpful and knowledgeable, and we soon had our drinks, and as it turned out scrumptious cakes (sorry for eating the last piece of chocolate cake). Will definitely be calling back here on our next visit to town.

This is our 4th visit to the Tynedale in Llandudno. We thought things couldn't get better but they do every time we go. The staff are the best ever, the rooms (ok they vary in size) but are pristine clean, and have all the facilities you need, the food in the restaurant can match any we have enjoyed elsewhere, the presentation of the food is excellent and during our visits we have had various waitresses and believe me when I say they cannot do enough and nothing is too much trouble for any of them.
We did report that a bed side bulb had gone in one of the lights and before we had put the telephone down someone was knocking on our door - that surely can't be beaten!
Reception staff are all so pleasant and there to help with anything you need. Papers can be ordered the night before if you need.
Outside, there are lovely tables with huge umbrellas over which we were able to use to enjoy our coffees outside during the afternoon.
I would and do recommend the Tynedale to anyone who want a first class holiday in Llandudno.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear of the hotel are quieter, but the hotel isn't in a noisy location.

My wife and I have just spent five days at this hotel ,we were part of a coach trip with 35 others ,we were met by one of the reception staff as we entered the hotel who gave us a short talk about what we could expect during our stay.We were then invited to have tea and cake in the lounge bar while our cases were taken to our rooms. This was the start of an excellent break, the food was real quality, the entertainment was first class, the hotel was spotless and the decor was of the highest order. We stayed in room 42(third floor) which had a stunning view of the sea and prominade. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble, the owners are to be commended on the way they run this wonderful hotel. We definately recommend this Hotel.
