Have eaten at Carlo's many a time.
Impressed with the knowledge the staff have of the food that is served, generous portions of food and the cosy 'living room' feel. I would recommend the Italian meats for a starter.
Not impressed with having to order a beer twice as it got forgotten about, large king prawns that taste 'chemically' and a fillet steak that wasn't as good as previous times.
This time they seemed a bit rushed off their feet for a weekday night, and since our bill for the food was near the £100 mark I would say I was a little disappointed.
However, I will return and try again to 'hope' that normal excellent service that I know of this place will hopefully have gotten back to its usual standards.
