What a lovely hotel. We stayed in a newly refurbished room (Room 3) on a 3 for 2 deal. We got one night free so well please overall. I must say, it was really well finished and very clean with furniture , carpets and decor. I believe we were one of the first to stay in the room so really pleased. The views from the room were amazing as the hotel sits on the sweep of the bay so you get lovely views all the way round to the little orme at the other side of the bay.The breakfast are alos excellent, probably one of the best I have had in any B&B or hotel.Overall very good.

Room Tip: We had room 3 which has just had a refurb. Great views

The hotel has a brilliant location, across from the Prom. Sadly, for us, that's about the only plus point.

We booked a family trip here over the August bank holiday weekend (a little late reviewing). The room that my husband & I were allocated was dirty. Chairs were thick with dust as were the pictures hanging on the walls. Carpets were OK and thankfully the bed linen was clean. The bathroom was stained and in need of a clean. The small glass shelf in the bathroom still had the remnants of the previous guests toothbrush and toiletries. Another of our party was glad they only stayed 1 night as they refused to use the shower - it was so dirty.

Tea and coffee facilities were dirty (we had to wash the cups before using them) and we didn't have any milk left. When we mentioned this to the owner on the first evening, he just blamed his staff and then told us that they were only interested in their weekend off and just wanted to clean the room quickly. Can I suggest that he gets some new staff then? They are really letting the hotel down - they're not particularly friendly at breakfast or when you see them. To be honest, we've read lots of glowing reviews about how friendly Frank is - sadly, we didn't experience this either.

Breakfast quality was OK - nothing to write home about and the dining area was crammed for the number of rooms.

We won't return.

Room Tip: Ask for a clean one!!!!!

I am sorry about you weekend at our hotel.Unfortunatley your stay coresponded with a serious relapse in my wifes health and two month hospitalisation afer a serious stroke, she will never be able to work again. As a result I relied on staff who assured me that th rooms were spotless.
It has taken you FIVE months to post your comments, during this time I haave appointed a new housekeeper, she has gone from top to bottom, including new carpets and furniture.
This hotel is now spotless

We were looking forward to a pre Christmas break and picked this hotel based on price and reviews. Hotel in itself is fine and the breakfast very good but thanks to two selfish guests who decided to have their tv on at the loudest possible level every night despite being asked politely to stop on the first night, and our last night culminated in listening to their tv to at least1:30am and it must have been then I eventually dropped off to sleep. Not an experience I will repeat!!!

This was our second visit to Wildings and we really enjoy being there. The views of the bay from our room were fantastic and the room was very spacious and comfortable.
The breakfasts are really good and plentiful and you can be assured of a friendly welcome from the owner Frank and waitress Deborah.

Room Tip: Room 4 has a wonderful view of the bay from the large bay window
