“Oh Dear!! Huge disappointment.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

Have been visiting Llandudno for many years and stayed in several hotels.Chose this one due to the reviews on Trip adviser it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The room (8) hadn't been cleaned properly, thick dust on almost every surface. The fridge was old, smelly and dirty, it also had 2 shot glasses in it?? There were crumbs in the bedside drawer. I don't think the carpet had been hoovered for a while as I found a length of dental floss, hair clip, hairband on it. Stains on many surfaces easily wipe-able. Bathroom was fairly modern but again in need of a good clean. Fan thick with dust, side of toilet dirty with quite a few hairs around. Shaving light but no mirror in bathroom so good job hubby didn't need a shave. Nowhere to hang towels, towel rail had come off at some point as holes in the wall. Could go on. Breakfast ok. Fortunately only booked for one night and stayed because sheets and towels were clean, and we were out most of the time. Overall certainly not worth the money paid. Wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend.

Room Tip: Don't bother.

Have once again returned from a long weekend at the Wildings as usual we had a fatastic time despite the weather.
The breakfast cooked by Frank and served by his staff was fantastic as ever, everything is fresh and cooked to order. You can have a variation on the breakfast nothing is to much trouble.
I look forward to our visits as it is such a friendly place.
The rest of the group that go with me all enjoy it there as it is so close to all the shops and cafe's.

Room Tip: Room 4 has a big queen size bed an a lovely view down the promanade and along the pier

Stayed at the wildings on many occasions for business when in north Wales. Fab b&b. Comfortable rooms, lovely hosts & friendly and inviting atmosphere. Breakfast is good & fresh and cooked to order. Great value for money.

Stayed here from Thursday to Saturday at the end of Feb on a ‘3 nights for the price of 2’ offer with my best friend. Chose this hotel from the reviews on Tripadvisor in combination with price and availability. Wanted a twin room with a sea view and that’s exactly what we got with Room 3 which is at the front of the hotel on the first floor.

The room we had was a good size and had a couple of comfortable seats with a small table next to the window which gave wonderful views out to the sea and along the promenade. It had a large wardrobe, dressing table, small flat screen & a fridge. The ensuite shower room / toilet was very small but had everything you needed and the shower was surprisingly amazing. There were some stains on the carpet but the overall impression of the room was very clean.

Unfortunately the beds were awful and neither of us slept the first night. We mentioned this to the owner, Frank at breakfast the next day, who was apologetic for the bad night we’d had. Frank is also the chef for the very filling and delicious breakfast cooked to order. After breakfast we went out for a walk to the Great Orme which is only 5 mins away and has fantastic views. When we returned late morning Frank had had two new mattresses ordered, delivered and the beds were just being made up. How fantastic was this service because to be honest I didn’t think I could stay another night. The next two nights sleep were wonderful.

This hotel has a lift to all floors (there a few steps on the entrance). There is a large lounge on the ground floor for all to use and has a very good view along the front. The hotel was warm and clean. There is parking outside which we managed to get every day. From 4pm until 10am it was free. From 10am until 4pm it was only £1.50 all day. From the hotel you go straight out and over the road to the promenade and the walk along there is beautiful. A short drive away is Colwyn Bay and Rhos-On-Sea where there are many café’s and shops along the front.

This hotel is ideally situated and a good deal on the ‘3 for 2 night’ deal. We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay and want to thank Frank again for replacing the mattresses for us.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in March for 2 nights . We stayed in room 8 a lovely big room with a king sized four poster bed.The sea view from the room was amazing. The room has a new corner shower and was excellent and and everywhere was spotlessy clean. The lounge area is cosy with a lovely view of the bay. The breakfast are excellent too. Cooked to order and lots on your plate for a change. We would highly recommended this hotel to anybody wanting to stay in the area and will definitely be staying again
Thanks Frank And Chris for a great stay.

Room Tip: Sea views are spot on
