“You couldn't ask for a more attractive and well equipted holiday home for a long or short stay.”
Reviewed May 23, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

It's location is ideal, close to beach and shops. Good road system to explore the
many interesting and historic places of Sussex and Kent, especially if you're a RHS or National Trust member.

“Quiet and spacious accommodation on edge of Eastbourne”
Reviewed April 23, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

As others have mentioned property is located in a quiet park with other similar properties located about 2 ½ miles from Eastbourne pier.

Advantages:
• Plenty of unrestricted car parking near property
• Very fast wifi
• Clean spacious accommodation
• Close to amenities and superstores (Tesco and Asda)
• Conservatory and outside seating
• Beds comfortable
• Electricity metered but more than enough credit supplied for stay duration
• TV and Bluray player supplied

It must be said the park itself could do with a bit of landscaping but other than that it was fine.

My only, minor, criticism would be to suggest a bit more communication before and after the stay. For example, it took me a few minutes to locate the property when I arrived, as the numbering system didn’t seem obvious, and after my departure confirmation that everything was left satisfactory (or not!) and therefore if the deposit would be refunded.

Thank you Paul for your kind review. I take on board about communication, I shall make more effort in future. As regards the Park relandscaping is out of my hands and down to park owners. I do however try and make my bit pleasant.

“Comfortable and quiet location with all amenities close by.”

The bungalow is situated on a sea estate near the town of Eastbourne. It is small but comfortable and the neighbours are friendly, ideal for a couple maybe with chidren. Sovereign Harbour is a few minutes walk where there are good restaurants. Asda is also walkable athough we drove the short way to Tesco and Sainsburys. Battle was well worth a visit as was Rye, Bodiam Castle and Sheffield park. Drusillas is also fun for children. Cliff walks abound ans the beach is within walking distance.
Vickie was really helpful as we did not know the area and she was always at the end of the phone to help. The bungalow has all the kitchen equipment necessary all pristine clean as was the linen etc. Be aware the electricity is metred. you can top up 24 hours a day at the local office but worth keeping an eye on consumption so you are not caught out. Lovely conservatory to catch the morning sun with coffee. Thank you Vicki.

Lovely cottage, very clean with everything you need for a break. Its the little extra touches that make this such a great experience. Very dog friendly.

“cosy and comfortable”
Reviewed December 29, 2016 for a stay in December 2016

Close to Soverign Harbour and the retail park. Took advantage of the conservatory even in December using the efficient heater. Found the beds comfortable. Well equipped cottage. Needed to rearrange the furniture to make use of the dining table.

“Well equipped but location disappointing.”
Reviewed October 24, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Cottage well equipped and comfortable. However, cottage is one of many on the site which itself is in the middle of a housing estate and next door to a very large retail park and dual carriageway. This would be ok for a couple with young children wanting quick access to shops but is different for a retired couple wanting a seaside escape.

Sorry you were disappointed. Kings Park is set in green open space, and to be gated from the houses, its in walking distance of the harbour and beach. The retail park is behind a tall hedge and can not be seen from the cottage, and we have never had trouble with noise. I hope you find what you are looking for next time .

Wonderful stay. Excellent location - not far by car from anywhere in Eastbourne and walking distance of the harbour and all it's eating opportunities. Great accommodation - clean, bright and functional with sun on both front an back garden at different times of day to get on with reading that summer book
