Stayed here for a weekend with the Mrs while in the area for a wedding. The hotel itself is in an excellent location, 2 minutes walk from the seafront and 5 minutes to the main shopping area.
Our room was fairly small, in comparison to a typical premier inn room, and seemed a bit dated although not too bad. The bathroom however certainly showed it's age and the shower very old and in need of a makeover. No wifi signal in the bedroom.
I cant comment on the breakfast as it was served too early for us (8:30 on a weekend..) so skipped it. Id have thought it not unreasonable to continue doing breakfast until 10 on a Sunday.
The bed was excellent. Bigger then a standard double and VERY comfortable, we both had a great nights sleep.
The service was also excellent. Our hosts were welcoming and chatty, very friendly.
Overall this has the potential to be a perfect hotel if the rooms were modernised a bit, shower replaced and a longer breakfast serving.More
