Stayed in room 220, superior room at the New Wilmington Hotel, Eastbourne, from 7th - 11th May 2013. Hotel has been extensively redecorated throughout. Clean and tidy, room nice and big. Good lighting, LED lights used so that you can have a drink and a chat without being blinded! Will suit the 'Greens'.Entertainment evenings OK. Food, good. Breakfast basic but freshly cooked if you like the 'Full English'. Evening meal, 3 courses, all well presented and reasonable choice. Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Small quiet room (lounge) for reading. Situated in quiet part of town but near to all that Eastbourne has to offer. Small lift. Bar prices OK; pint of bitter £3.45. We will certainly stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others. Well done, Sue Harris; General Manager.
