Spur of the moment visit to Gringos as had planned to go to Harvester in the Marina but there was a 30 minute wait. Seated and served immediately although only given the lunch menu not the full menu. Chose the Roast Dinner for £3.95. For that price was not expecting much but was impressed with the quality of the food and the flavour of the ingredients. Followed with a coffee which was well flavoured.

Very impressed and look forward to returning to sample a fuller menu

Visited our local Gringos again with family as the boys needed a good steak. It was pretty empty for a Saturday night but we ordered a mixed starter to share, two steaks and a steak fajita. The food was hot and tasty but the accompaniments were not great. Rough cut iceberg filled the plates and the potatoes had been sitting in the oven for a little while. Shame as its normally all delicious. Total cost including beers and wine was just under £100 so not a cheap night out but OK if you're hungry.

We have been in here a few times, the food and service is really good, especially the fajitas. We prefer to go in here if it is quieter as it can get quite noisy if there are lots of people, this adds to the atmosphere but makes it more difficult to hold a conversation

It isn't too pricey

Four of us went here for a New Years Eve meal and the service, food and value for money were top notch.

The variety of menu choices is great. There are Burgers (the best I have had), Pasta, Steaks and their Nachos are really good.

I really do recommend this restaurant as somewhere you will get good food, great service and a really warm welcome.

Never been here before but looked at the prices outside and thought it was well worth a visit. Once inside the staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The choice of food, particularly the lunchtime menu was impressive for the price tag of £3.95. However I chose a BBQ chicken burger due a shifty glance at the next tables plates. I was not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The children's menu was good as well. Often the choice is limited however here my son really had a choice of meal. He went for the Rigatoni Capone which he finished every mouthful of, which is a result in itself as he can be very picky about his food. All in all a good little find which we will visit again.
