There's a little place, on the pier at Eastbourne. A place, where, in a way time has stopped.
You are transported back in time, to the Victorian era, I guess. A place where etiquette befits.
The place has a calming/ tranquil effect.
This is NOT a "fast-food" place.
It's a Victorian Tea Room!! Scones, with clotted cream & jam. Toasted tea-cakes with real butter. Cakes, served as wedges.Sandwiches made to order, the list goes on.
The tea is served in china tea-pots, you have to use a tea-strainer. The sugar is in "mis-fit" lumps, brown or white. There's table-clothes. the chairs are comfy.
The staff are friendly, The portions large, scones, the size of a fist. Tea-cakes, like dinner plates. Real butter, real tea & real service.
So, theres this little tea-room on the pier at Eastbourne, that is great.
