What a fabulous place, it never fails to please us. We're two semi retired people with a love of Eastbourne. We've been visiting there for years and for the past 3 have stayed at the Meads. What a fantastic discovery we have made. The host is so welcoming, she really makes us feel part of her family but in a non intrusive way she also allows us our space. Each morning we look forward to the delicious breakfast and after a day out we look forward to relaxing on the comfortable bed in a spotlessly clean room. The b and b is situated 5 minutes walk from the beach in Eastbournes and the base of the south downs. We love it

Room Tip: all the rooms are ensuite - we've tried both and they're both great

We enjoyed staying in this hotel. the room was cosy and always tidy, the bathroom and the toilet were perfect, the breakfast was really delicious with everything you can desire :))
The owner makes you feel like you are a part of her family and every guest is important to her! it's near to the bus stop so you can reach the centre of Eastbourn in some minutes.it's 5 min walk from the beach. choose this place for your stay and you'll never regret!

A shower that did not work and the skimpiest breakfast I have ever been given. A bed and breakfast of the old school

I chose this guest house because I once lived around the corner 30 years ago. It is still the lovely quiet road I remember. The room we had was airy and comfortable, and the private bathroom just a step away across the hall was bang up to date. Your delicious breakfast is cooked to order. The owner has managed to create a country house atmosphere where you really do feel like a guest and the communal kitchen table is great fun. I can't stand the noise of bigger hotels, doors banging, lifts, outside traffic, so if like me, you like a good nights sleep, choose The Meads. It is only a minute away from all that Eastbourne has to offer.
