Had two nights in this comfortable Hotel, every thing you need to make your stay comfortable.Very welcoming. Not too far from thecenter of Eastbourne.
Complementary shower gel and shampoo plenty of hot water.Towels could be a bit bigger but they were clean.
Every thing available for a good breakfast serviceexcellent.Would be excellentfor families as Dee loved children.Would visit again if we were in Eastbourne.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights. Dee and Kevin's hospitality is second to none...nothing was too much trouble whilst we were here and we were made to feel like part of the family. The room was very well presented and very clean. The breakfast was extremely good. Thank you Dee for looking after our daughters teddies and making their stay comfortable too! We would thoroughly recommend a stay here! We will definitely be going back!

Had friends stay here when they visited Eastbourne and got deal on this hotel. They were very impressed at the service and the rooms. Comfy bed good size room with ensuite. Breakfast very good and again the service excellent. Would recommend this hotel to others when visiting the Eastbourne area.

Booked last minute and was delighted. Clean / Comfortable / Quiet and welcoming with a lovely full English breakfast and a smiling hostess. We only stopped one night, but would stop there again if in Eastbourne.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are away from main road and overlook an allotment.

My 'superior' room was at the very top of the building and the main road outside - even though two floors down - was quite noisy.
The room was too hot during the night with no opportunity to remove the duvet and use just a sheet (couldn't find any sheets); this with all the windows open too. It unfortunately meant a good night's sleep wasn't to be had.
The room itself was quite pleasant (although my elderly hands found the shower very difficult to turn off) and comfortable.
The other guests in the hotel were most pleasant and made for good company over breakfast (which was lovely).

Room Tip: When booking, ask for a room at the back, away from the noisy road.

My family and I stayed at the Camelot Lodge for 3 nights at the beginning of August 2013. Dee and Kevin were warm and welcoming hosts and provided all the help and assistance one could wish for, be it for suggestions of things to do, places to visit or the best cafes and restaurants to dine. The rooms were good sizes, clean, tidy and maintained to a very high standard. The mint crisp chocolates were a nice touch and they were provided every day - a feature not lost on my son and daughter who were very impressed (actually my wife and I enjoyed them too!).

There were ample supplies of toiletries in the bath/shower rooms, tea/coffee and very good quality biscuits. Each room also has a large screen TV, much nicer than having to squint at a tiny 14" screen!

The beds themselves were extremely comfortable and all of our party slept very well. The breakfasts were also very well varied, offering cereal, fresh fruit, toast, and of course the full English, which was delicious. There is also a lounge which has a Nintendo Wii console and games. There is a comfortable well-stocked lounge bar where you can have a nice drink and get to know Dee and Kevin better, and we had an evening playing games and having a laugh with them. There are plenty of board games for the whole family to play. If a quieter time is required, then on the first floor landing there is a bookcase with a large amount of books for all ages and tastes.

Nothing is too much trouble for Dee and Kevin and it is their input and dedication which made the Camelot Lodge a real home from home. We will have no hesitation in booking our future stays and would highly recommend it to all.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter. Owners also cater for business visitors.

I stayed here by myself at the end of July and had a fantastic stay. The room I was given was very clean and had everything that could be needed - decent quality toiletries, fridge, brew making facilities (including the option of fresh milk for those who prefer it to UHT), posh packets of biscuits, and even a rather nice crispy minty chocolate on the pillow.

There’s even a nice pub and a few shops within walking distance so you can park up and go out.

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, I had the full English and can’t fault it. There was also the usual cereals available as well as fruit but I’d definitely recommend the full English!!

I was slightly concerned that I might struggle turning right out of the car park in the morning as the road seems quite busy but when I left at about 0830 the road wasn’t too bad.

The only negative point I could possibly mention is that the bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep early and didn’t get the chance to take up the offer of hospitality of the owners in the evening – I would’ve probably enjoyed the drink and a chat in the living room area, never mind you can’t win them all!

If I’m in the area again it will be my first choice of places to stay.

Room Tip: I had room 1 which was at the back of the property and very quiet.
