“Beautiful place to stay”
Reviewed September 17, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We stayed at Ta Torri for 2 weeks, 4 adults , 5 children. This is a really special place, It's in a small village, close to the airport and off the tourist track. There is loads of outside space and the farmhouse itself is so full of character and has everything you need.
The pool is great, a really good size and in good condition, set slightly away from the house but within the beautiful, enclosed wall garden.
The only thing to be aware of is that one of the double bedrooms is in a separate little flat at the bottom of the garden, not a problem for most but we weren't comfortable with splitting families up, but there was loads of space in the house and we managed to rearrange and fit everyone in.
A visit to Alfred the baker is expected of you, and definitely worth it..
Dealing with the owner was no problem and there was a care taker nearby who was close by if any problems arose.
We loved Ta TorrI, would highly recommend it's and would Iove to go back.

“On our way again, can't wait .”
Reviewed August 5, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We have spent our anuual holiday at Ta Torri for the past 17 years. The facilities are excellent, it's like being in utopia - in a secluded garden setting where you can relax in peace and uninterrupted tranquility. The people of Mqabba are so friendly and always welcome us into their beautiful town. We are so looking forward to our next stay.

“Very nice farm in central Malta”
Reviewed June 23, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

The property is so nice (and spacious!) that you will want to spend your whole holiday there. There are plenty of spots for reading a book in peace while others are playing table tennis or swimming at the same time. The village satisfies basic needs, but for anything else you will need a car (for Valletta the local busses are better).

“An amazing and totally unique place to stay in Malta - perfect for a group of friends/family”
Reviewed February 28, 2017 for a stay in July 2016

Ta Torri is THE nicest place to stay in Malta and we have been here around 6 times, and I hope many times still to come. The family members who visit changes each ear, sometimes there are 8 of us, sometimes more, however what is certain we have an amazing time!

It is the most unusual place to stay, I describe it to friends and family as like a castle! It is full of old idiosyncrasies, which just adds to its charm, and we love looking out for the chameleons in the huge gardens.

The kids spend their time in the poor and running around the gardens... it is truly and amazing place.

As a side note - you need to hire a car if you are visiting here.

Absolutely outstanding, so tranquil and beautiful the pictures cannot do Ta Torri justice and there was everything we needed there and more. The locals are friendly and inviting and Malta is stunning We will definitely returning to Ta Torri and Malta.

“Delightful”
Reviewed July 29, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Eight of us spent 10 days here in early April. We arrived just after Malta had experienced some pretty grim weather, but thankfully we had beautiful weather the whole time we were there. It got quite cool in the evenings but the heater in the main room was extremely efficient. The pool was used by some of us, but not the ones who prefer warmer water. (The sea was warmer than the pool). It took a little while to get in, but once in it was lovely and worth the effort. A definite bonus to an already wonderful place. Not the easiest place to stay for those with disabilities as there are many different levels to deal with, but I would imagine this would be heaven for children. Lots to do, all sorts of wild life in the gardens and such a historical building with all sorts of places to explore.
Despite being close to the airport we did not find this a problem. To start with the walls are so thick you do not hear the planes through them and even in the garden, it is merely a novelty seeing a plane appear as it takes off from the airport.
The only downside is dust. The property is quite close to a quarry and quite a bit of dust will settle. None of us are prone to asthma, so this was no problem to us, but worth bearing in mind if any of your party are. Keeping the roadside windows closed certainly dealt with the problem as far as the main house was concerned.
We hired two small cars while we were there and this worked well as we didn't all want to go in the same direction every day. I would just like to emphasise here that you need to be aware of the speed cameras around the airport area!!!! (Not just as you come out of the tunnel).
Driving is easy in Malta and we made sure we had cars that we could take over to Gozo - a visit there is a must, so always check you can do this if hiring a car. Not all hiring companies allow this.
This wasn't just any holiday rental, this was an experience which fuelled the imagination and provided far more than just a place to stay. You just don't feel the need to go out every day - in fact just the opposite - I was more than happy to just stay put and absorb the atmosphere around me.

We visited with our family so there were a few of us but thankfully the place was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. The photos don't do it justice, it's lovely. So big you can alway find a place to be alone. The air con was a godsend as it was very warm. Beautiful gardens and a great pool. The owners had put lots of information around the house to tell you about its past.
The bedrooms were all a good size and lovely and clean, plenty of bathrooms as well.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need and leads on to the outside dining area which is equipped with a gas bar b q .
The pool is a great size and just the right depth. There were plenty of seating areas around the whole garden and sun loungers by the pool and lots of umbrellas for keeping in the shade.
There are various small roof terraces , and even a stone staircase.
The lounge is equipped for everyone, plenty of seating, books to read, games to play and even a TV and dvd player.
The local supermarket is only 10 minute drive for all your needs and for the more adventurous try the local shops.
The owners have really thought about the whole experience, the gardens are looked after by a local gardener and the pool is tended most mornings to make sure it's ready for each day.
The whole experience was wonderful, we can't wait till our next visit.
We would highly recommend this holiday home.
5 star from start to finish.
Thanks for a great experience
