We camped for a couple of nights just above the beach on a basic but excellent campsite on the hill.
As you drive in to Newgale from the south, you just want to stay there, it's a captivating view. There's not a huge amount to do in Newgale itself, apart from a pretty average pub, a couple of shops and the surf shop but you don't need anything apart from the sea, a few beers and some good company.
