“Stunning, can't wait to go back. Heaven in the Algarve”
Reviewed July 25, 2012 for a stay in May 2012

Floresta provided an absolute dream holiday in a perfect location. Stunning modern Villa exactly as advertised in beautiful surroundings with our own pool and hot-tub, what more could you ask for on a holiday! The views from our large balconies were breathtaking and made for wonderful evenings as we cooked on the BBQ until late (in-built BBQ on each balcony is very clever). The location is wonderful set in the small village of Budens with an authentic family bakery in the heart of the village (follow the smell of freshly baked bread) and a supermarket and good restaurants all less than 5 minutes walk away. If you're a golfer then Floresta awaits you with a fine course literally on your doorstep. We didn't play but enjoyed counting the buggies on the course and watching the tee-offs from our balcony. Floresta is absolutely perfect if you want a holiday of relaxation, sun (poolside or seaside), good food and wine, leisurely walks and local shopping in nearby towns - there's a really friendly local taxi service too. The Villas have everything you need, including a superb collection of books and magazines, so it really is a home away from home and we can't wait to go back.

“Loved it - would definately go back!”
Reviewed June 8, 2011 for a stay in April 2011

We arrived on 23/04/11. We had only booked it 2 weeks previous and were a bit nervous about payment but everything went smoothly.
Sam met us with keys and a welcome basket which was a nice touch. She couldn't do enough for us during our stay. We stayed for 2 wks - a maid came in to change the sheets every few days.
The villa itself is beautiful, comfortable and well maintained. The views from the verandas are to die for, exactly what you want when we come to the Algarve.

Great place for our kids, a really nice safe environment where we could keep an eye on the pool area all the times and not have to worry.
We could have stayed by the pool everyday, very tempting, but when we ventured out it was defiantly worth it. Salema Beach is in a beautiful setting with the cliffs and cafes offering shade when it got a little too hot.

The kids freally enjoyed themselves, they loved the Zoo Marina. it was a little pricey so we booked online (kids under 4 are free). If you stay all day, which you will, its good value.

You can get the freshest of fish at Mira Mar restaurant in Salema (or Tiago in Budens itself) followed by cocktails at Aventura bar
Any night we stayed in, we BBQd on the terrace and sampled the local wine (delicious and cheap) overlooking the beautiful windmill.

My husband played golf across the road at Parque da Floresta and said its a wonderful course and it's very reasonably priced. He also played Boavista which is just a few minutes away in the car.

We have been going to the western Algave for a few years now and hope to go back to Budens soon, maybe even Sept.
