The Passage was a lovely place to stay. The 2 pools were great to swim in and the rooms were large and comfortable. The food was also good. Rent a scooter or car and you can easily reach anywhere on this small island.

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. The resort is on the opposite side of the island to the main resort area. Particularly good for those looking for a quiet secluded holiday and who aren't concerned about having night entertainment venues close to hand.

The staff were extremely helpful and the food was excellent. A perfect option for those looking for a quiet relaxing holiday away from the crowd.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view room

We were at a wedding with most guests staying at the nearby Four Seasons. We think The Passage was better, infinitely less expensive, beautiful and wonderful service. We had a poolside room which looked onto the beach, the room was spacious, gorgeous big indoor outdoor bathroom. The only downside was the somewhat remote location, but in other circumstances, this could be a plus.

After 3 weeks of intensive travel and research on education in Thailand (traveling to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Ubon Ratchathani), I met up with my family (from Vermont and California, USA) at the Passage Samui for a week of relaxation. It was the most tranquil, gorgeous place, had the quiet peace that we were all wanting. My mother and I stayed at the Beachfront Pool Villa and my brother and sister-in-law stayed at the pool connect villa. Both accommodations were supreme. The dining room and pool bar were an amazing addition to the paradise we were all experiencing. I can't say enough about this place. It is Heaven on earth whether you are there with family, friends, solo or for a romantic getaway, this is the place to be. Reasonable rates and fantastic service. Close to town and beaches and many other activities, if you choose. We were there in July 2012.

Room Tip: You cannot beat the price of a Beachfront Pool Villa~ it is a private paradise!! A MUST if you are going to stay there.

Hotel in coconut forest, far away from other hotels. It is very quiet. There are no strangers. Excellent state of rooms, restaurant, swimming pools. Liked the service. Staff friendly and helpful. Liked the restaurant, with delicious food. Near the hotel is a good massage room, where prices are cheaper than in the hotel, and the quality is not inferior ($15 per visit). The hotel has a free Shuttle bus that brings you straight to the administrative center of the island. In General, here you can relax from the urban bustle and gain strength.

Room Tip: Villa with garden view more quiet than the poolside.
