This is another rave review for this excellent restaurant, this is another example of the restaurant full and next door empty. Southern Indian and Malay food, cold beer, good service , great value, we ate naan, rice, tikka, masala, poppa dams beer coke, all for $17.00 and much better than anything where we live.

“Good Indian Food with decent price”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

This place is quite popular in Tg Bungah area with locals and expats. Try to go early for lunch or dinner else it can get quite packed. Some of the food that I like
1) Tandoori Plain Naan or Garlic Naan - the naan serve is always hot and fluffy and soft. The tandoori chicken like wise is also not bad
2) The Banana leaf rice set is also usually good. However for this I usually see what are the side vegetarian dishes before deciding if I want to order. Sometimes the side vege dishes are ncie and sometimes not to my liking.
3) There are some nice chicken, mutton, shrimps/small prawns and squid/calamari curry dishes. The deep fried fish fillets are also nice in my opinion.
4) The instant mee/maggi soup is also quite nice to my liking.
5) Teh Ais (Ice Tea) and Limau Ais is also nice to drink over here.

If you go 2 or 3 persons and want to try the curries, I recommend you to choose the types of curries you want and tell the staff for 1 person. If not they will serve you base on how many persons you have and its not worth it.

I love the food however if its crowed then the service becomes poor. So you decide when you want to go

“Good food”
Reviewed March 23, 2013 via mobile

We were recommended this restaurant by one of the bar men in our hotel. We took a taxi there and was so glad we did, fabulous food. We ended up there twice each time having Indian food. My husband had a prawn curry on the first visit and thought it was one of the best he's ever had, I had the chicken Hariyaly which was superb.

“Fantastic food”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

This restaurant is just across the road from both the Flamingo Hotel and Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort, it has fantastic food and great atmosphere. If you are not sure about Indian food, speak to one of the staff, and try their recommendation, don't think you will be disappointed
