Went up the 418 steps to take the photos we have seen so many times before overlooking Ålesund. The café was very quiet. Most people were up on the roof taking photos. We didn't have dinner here but enjoyed something to drink and a local speciality called svele (recommended if you like sweet pancakes). The woman servicing the café showed an utmost level of service to us. She came to our table and explained everything we could see in the beautiful view. Normally places like these are tourist traps, but I felt that this one clearly was not.
