Absolutely fantastic trip during my stay in Bergen. It was incredibly well organised and Frank was a fantastic guide throughout giving us insight into all things Norway. The added hot chocolate and reindeer salami at the top of the hike was a great touch as well. The views were incredible for what was not an overly taxing hike even with snow shoes that I hadn’t used before. An incredible experience overall with great views and great guiding by Frank!

First time in Bergen, decided on a snowshoe hike to explore. Frank was very hospitable and knowledagebale of the surrounding area. The walk was very enjoyable and the sights were stunning. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Bergen looking to enjoy some natural beauty outside of the city!

We had a fantastic morning snowshoeing with Frank. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and took us to a lovely mountain area, where we snowshoed up to the top with an amazing view of a fjord! The lovely blue sky weather made it a perfect day.

A must do activity, suitable for everyone.

yes you timed your stay well, glorious sun and calm winds are not every day, but the light on the mountains within the west coast is very special. Thank you very much.

O wow!! Under professional guidance of Norway Mountain Guides we hiked to the top of the Melderskin! Despite my fear of heights I really enjoyed the unforgettable hike! Together with my colleagues I pushed my limits. Thank you Frank for the wonderful experience.

So if you are with a team that is as enthusiastic, full of energy and love the elements of nature as our team, then this is a must-do!

It is easy to guide in beautiful Hardanger, and nature helps us along the way, but we got challenging weather with very strong winds in the high mountains, but you were so sporty, for a bunch in Imagro! We had a lot of fun working with you!

We had a pretty long holidays in Bergen in the end of October. We planned to go hiking right away when we arrived but due to rain (I would call it a storm) we could not make it but the Norway Mountain Guides were very flexible to help us re-arrange the trip. Eventually, the hike was our last activity, on our last day in Bergen, to wrap up our whole vacation. And, thank God, that decision is the one which cannot be more right to make. It went perfectly and we had the most wonderful experience ever. Why?
#1 - Bergen is beautiful and so its nature. The city from high view (we luckily made it to the sunset), snow on the mountains, then lakes, rocks, grass,... everything is even more beautiful than the things you are imaging.
#2 - We got the best preparation from our beloved guide (Hann... let her introduce herself when you meet her). One day before the trip, she called us to check on how we prepare for the trip with some useful advises and suggestions. On the day we hiked, I... stupidly 'created' a new path and ended up stepping in mud (very early since we started the trip). Of course, my shoes got wet. I even thought... "Done, our trip is done here!" But thank to Hann, she carried "the whole house" on her back to prepare for cases like this so I could continue the trip COMFORTABLY.
During the trips, she also told us a lot of information about Bergen (both history and culture, and especially snacks, yummy, hahaa).
In a nutshell, you definitely should book them, we booked them for TWO hikes. I promise you would not regret.
Wish you a wonderful trip,

Thank you very much for a long and nice review. It's fun to point out the things that can also go wrong. Most people are happy when things are going well, but for us it is important to have the right guides who are well prepared, take care of everyone and can handle different situations, Hanne is certainly such a woman. We hope to see you again, all the best! Frank
