I hiked up Mt Floyen in Bergen with Frank Barmen of Norway Mountain Guides and 3 other hikers on a chilly, foggy, drizzly day. The hike was wonderful, despite the bad weather, because Frank was our guide. Frank knows so much about Bergen and Norway and he shares his knowledge in an interesting and engaging way. Also, Frank took very good care of our group of hikers: he brought bread (which he baked himself!) with Norway's brown cheese (delicious!) to share with us as we hike up the mountain, also hot broth with local herbs which he poured for us at the summit to cut the chilly wind. I highly recommend hiking with Frank in the mountains around Bergen - I hope you find better weather than we had but you'll still have a great time even if the weather isn't so great!
