Having spent 7 days in Norway over New Year where we were shocked to find every decent restaurant shut for the duration it was with great relief we came across Spisekroken on Tripadvisor and found it to be open on January 4th. I had the 3 course special menu whilst my partner went for the fish soup from the "reasonable specials" section as starter followed by the fish main course. Every element of the 8 courses we had was excellent with the only reservation being that the fish soup was under-seasoned and benefitted from some extra pepper. Very good standard of food indeed and excellent service and by ridiculously over-priced Norwegian standards reasonable value too!
