We stayed two nights in a 3rd floor room, a bit "cozy" but nicely appointed. Pleasant view from our room of the harbor area. What little interaction we had with staff was efficient and pleasant.
Pros: Impeccably clean. one block from the historic harbor and fish market restaurants; room fridge, pot to make instant coffee and tea (supplies provided). Heated bath floor tiles (nice), chairs and small table, really comfortable bedding. an electrical outlet in the bed headboard, so convenient for charging devices. fold out desk with ottoman seat. Lots of options for breakfast, including 4 varieties of fish if you like that (smoked, mustard sauce, lox, pickled herring). cereals, fruits, breads, eggs, juices. WiFi included. Didn't try the bar in the lobby.
Negatives: Nothing much really. Nice hotels these days usually provide two pillows per person, but there was only one each. Only two bath towels and one hand towel. We didn't ask for more linens, but i assume they would have provided them. Shower gel dispenser in the shower (no tub) and soap dispenser by the sink were the only toiletries. No counter area at all in the bathroom, and a rather small sink, so we struggled to place our toiletries. Did I mention comfy bedding!
At about $180/night (booked on hotels.com), it's not a bargain hotel, but not much in Norway is! Glad we stayed there.
