“Unusual cooking style worked a treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

Good Indian food served with a twist. Some dishes seemed to be based on the tandoor resulting in the meat being served on lovely platters and a rich sauce in a separate dish.
Good kids alternative as a full Indian experience only scaled down to suit.
RIch and flavourful meat nad sauces. My only tiny niggle (if pressed) is that the chef was a tiny bit heavy on the salt (and I love salt).
Definitely go again and recommend it unreservedly.
Cost....well this is Norway! Two adults and two kids, mains only with nan breads and a couple of beers came to around a thousand kroner.

“Best ethnic restaurant in Bergen”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

I like this place. The menu is carefully thought out, and the meat used in the recepies is very good quality indeed.

Poor range of non-alchoholic beers lets it down.

“A poor average choice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

Our tour operator Tumleys, Copenhagen / Paryatan tourism , Muzaffarnagar , choose this very crowded restaurant, they provided us a very narrow and crowded space in top corner for 14 people, it was very difficult to move from chairs to buffet table, food was average, service was poor as they were busy with another large Indian group , they may be having little staff , overall impression was poor. I will not repeat and not recommended to other visitors also. After a long 14 hours journey from Oslo to Bergen we land up in this terrible place, so Mr Tour Operator, do not only look for your profits, think of Indian Tourists also who are paying you about Rs 20,000/- per day for such poor arrangements.

“Take-away .... many good dishes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

We picked up a take-away and shared the various dishes. Good food in appropriate portions. As we had a take-away I cannot say anything about the service. we got what we paid for.
