Description: We always recommend today's 5 course menu, but we can also make an excellent 3 course menu if you prefer that. Or we can suggest even more than 5 courses. We always choose wines that goes perfect with the various courses and most of our guest prefer to follow our suggestions. We want our guest to experience a perfect meal!

We invited our Trondheim dealers there last week. The restaurant is devided into two parts, and we went to the top floor Bistro part in the small alley around the corner. And what a 5 course dinner! The menu was presented by the wonderful waitress Iris who knew the menu by heart and wisely guided us through the wine list. The food was a selection from the genuine Norwegian cuisine. Not too heavy, well composed and it was a lot less expensive than we'd thought it would be. When leaving we said good night to the chef. A truly memorable evening we are still talking about at work.

One of, if not the best places to eat in Trondheim while you are there...
Great well composed courses of meals accompanied by the restaurants recommendation of individual wines, every meal introduced by the knowledgeable staff.

Thumbs up!

Fine dining in Trodnheim! I will say that this is one of maybe 2 good gourmet restaurants in Trondheim. Maybe the closest you get a michelin restaurant in Trondheim. Expensive but worth it to celebrate special occasions. Very good wine selection!

We have been visiting Norway from the United States and trying to navigate the expensive prices. We are upstairs at Credo's bistro and ordered 2 entrees a la carte (lamb and cod) and 2 glasses of wine and shared the entrees. Both were delicious and supplemented by great bread with an aoli spread. Service was great and staff were friendly. Highly recommend this place.

This review is for Credo Bistro - the second floor.

Today's menu was interesting and the appetizer was good. The chef had some bad luck with the fish "Lange", which was dry - something the next table agreed to. The dessert was fair enough, but did not reach "really good".

The service was above average, and the price was good. I think I will try this restaurant again.
