Description: Ågot Lian Seafood Restaurant serves tasty Norwegian seafood in a Norwegian environment. We are inspired by traditional Norwegian cuisine, and we are using local produce from Trondelag. The menu will vary with season and availability of fresh produce. On our daytime menu you will find various traditional courses, like traditional fish cakes, shellfish, whale, fish soup, bacalao, fish & chips - and fish of the day. Price range 145 - 265 NOK. In the evening we offer a set menu where you can combine into a 3 - 6 course meal, price range 415 - 670 NOK. We typically use produce like scallops, crayfish, cod, halibut, saithe/coalfish and hake. We gladly provide recommendations on wine and local beer to match the selected menu. We have a fine selection of local craft beer in stock. Additionally, we offer seasonal specialties, like traditional lutefisk in November - December and traditional skrei (migrating cod, liver and roe) in January - March. We focus on healthy and natural food - using only fresh produce, reduced salt contents, healthy oils - and no added preservatives. All food is made from scratch at Ågot's. You'll find us in the middle of Trondheim, by the market square - in Sommergården, a historic building from 1777. Welcome!
