This Synagogue is just across the street from the Nidaros complex and is not hard to find.
There is the usual security at the entrance. We were the only morning visitors on June 20, and were given a guided tour by one of the staff. We have visited a great many small Shuls in small towns, and the Sanctuary in Trondheim is equal to any. It has been well maintained. There is a good museumin the basement with lots of photos of the local pre-war community. Makes one sad to think what happened to many of these folks. We did get to spend some time with the very interesting Ms. Paltiel, the museum curator. Definitely worth a visit.
