My wife and me spent three nights at the Kristiansand Feriesenter, which we just found on the way. As others have mentioned, the facilities are very modern and of high standard. We typically don´t like such large camp sites (Scandinavian "family centers") but if you stay in this one and you have a regular car (or bike or just yourself and a tent) you can choose between several wonderful spots by the seaside, close to the rocks, with unspoilt fantastic views. Unforgettable! The location is also convenient for trips to Kristiansand and nice places around.
