If the nicest thing I can say about a restaurant is that the building is nice, you know things aren't going to go well. I suppose that the beef was nice could be an important thing to consider in a steak house, but the meat isn't the only thing they serve on their plates. And the rest of it? Not so nice. The potatoes were abysmal, and the pepper sauce too thin (though it served to drown the potatoes in). The service is on the slow side. And my local friend tells me the place is considered to be on the expensive side, even for Norway.
So really, only if you absolutely MUST have steak in Tønsberg.
