This place was awesome! Friendly staff and they spoke English. Very knowledgeable about things to do in the city. Food was unbelievable! Friendly people in the restaurant and they also have live music some nights. I recommend everything they cook! I ate there twice and should have had all my meals there!

I have been to a Christmas dinner with the colleagues at Kampen Bistro.
It is a cosy place with very unformal, home-like atmosphere. But can be quiet nosy, when it's full.
We went for a 3-course menu for 399 NOK.
Starter (smoked salmon) and main course (some kind of white fish with baked potato and vegetables) were simple but delicious!
Desert (pana cota with a kryderkake) was a big disappointment: dry kake, and tasteless pana cota...
For 399 NOK you kan get a better experience other places in Oslo.

This little restaurant is situated in a vert nice part of Oslo, called Kampen. It is full of old furnitures, lamps, arts, and the atmosphere is perfect! Little menu, great food, Nice people. They also have concerts. Worth a visit!

A long-term favorite if mine, this Bistro at the outskirts of Oslo. Located near Munch museum, it should definitely be frequented by more tourists. But not place you stumble upon...

Always been famous for it's kitchen and a wine list with value-priced exclusive wines...

This time was also good, but ruined a bit by a waiter who did not really look as if he wanted to be there that day. But the soup with mussels delivered, no doubt!
