Forest & Brown is that very good mix of a local waterhole catering to the people nearby and a place to eat some simple but good food at either lunch or an early dinner. The interior is cosy in that british pub kind of way, whereas the outside seats are more reminiscent of a Parisian sidewalk cafe. Either way you will enjoy your stay, the food (their salads are both excellent taste and quite large) and the drink (they do both beer, wine and mixed drinks), and most of all that the size of the bill is manageable to be in the west end of Oslo. Travel those extra meters to pay it a visit!
