“Pricey and Yummy.. but worth it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2012

The 5 set dishes we ate were extremely delicious and worth every single kroner we paid for!

The waiters are proffesionals and very polite and helpful... a reservation is a must especially on weekends.

I like every single bite and the wine that went very well with the Thai food..

This restaurant is over-priced but don't complain much! this is Norway!

The only 2 things that I didn't like about this restaurant is that it was little small with small tables and narrow lines between...

We sat at the end since we were more than 5 person, the place was little warm and had no out-looking window or view which was not a big deal but to others might be!

I would love to get there again and I recommend it.. but not more than 2 - 3 times a year!!

“Excellent food and great service!”

This is a very good restaurant. Try the street food with the beetle leaf - my favorite! Excellent service and nice atmosphere. One of Oslo's best restaurants!

“The place to eat Thai in Oslo”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2012

Plah has thru the last years proven it self to be the best Thai-restaurant in Oslo. They have maintained a high standard, and well earned reputation. Had their 8 course dinner last night, and they didn’t disappoint me. A lot of flavors and creativity, that makes you want to go home and have a try yourself (knowing that you will be disappointed, you don’t actually go thru with it). In stead you start planning a new trip to Plah  AND, that’s the best part with Plah – you can afford going ther more then once a year! An 8 course dinner, with wine (mostly Riesling) has a fixed price of NOK 995,- (NOK 545,- without wine), and that is a good deal. Enjoy!

“Yummy, pricy and delicious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2012

Though I want Thai food to have a little bite and show some spicy strength, this slightly watered down version of South-East Asian food is actually delicious. Street food starters as well as entrées - in particular the fish - are yummy and elegantly presented (though relatively small).
I had the set menu - five courses - and loved every bite.

Parts of the restaurant needs to be refurbished if they want to remain in the high-end category. The middle room looks like an old swimming pool.

Staff, many Swedes I believe, are friendly and do their thing professionally.
Location is great - near the Royal Park and with several bars nearby, should one fancy a drink after dinner.

Located in Oslo - its pricy. Of course.

“Top class Thai food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2012 via mobile

Excellent thai food. Went twice. Second visit was expensive

Street food is very good and is their best value. (But maybe avoid the huge pork pieces - boney, fatty)

Thai roast fish was perfect, as was the fresh fruit dessert with coconut soup; but the bill was a less pleasant surprise...!

Remind the staff - There IS an English menu
