“Go crosscountry skiing!”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

If you take the T-bane ca 35 minutes from the city senter to "Frognerseteren" you could experience cross country skiing in Nordmarka. It is good slopes and you can rent skis close to where the t-bane stops. This is very typical Norwegian and a nice relaxing experience! You can also go down hill from Tryvann skisenter if you prefer that.

“oslo sommerpark”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

Visiting Oslo for 3 days I can say that the afternoon spent at the sommer park , was the best part of the visit!!! Travelling with two teenagers, we were lucky to have a sunny aftrenoon on that day and they both enjoyed one of the most exciting and challenging experience they ever had!!!
We all consider it as the highlight of our trip and would definetely reccomend it to all families travelling to Oslo. The only problem we had, were the directions to the park after getting off the train since there are no signs as to what road to choose. Luckily we found some locals that were very helpful and showed us the way...

“A nice break from the busy city life”
Reviewed June 18, 2012

If you want a break from the city and take a walk in the woods, Oslomarka is great. It is close to the city, so you can get there fast. It has well marked routes of different lengths and you find tourist cafes where you can buy coffee, waffles and such. It's perfect for strollers as well.
