“Nice smalltown with WW2 history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2012

Drobak is a lively summer leisure smalltown, offering golf, sailing, swimming, sun bathing, nice food, outdoor & church concerts, shops and small art galleries. Drobak is around 30 km from Oslo and can be reached by bus routes from Oslo. Boat from Drobak (5 mins) to the fortress Oscarsborg with exciting history from WW2 and earlier. A great place to go on a day out from Oslo.

“Nice Christmas Town!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012 via mobile

We decided to take a day trip to Drøbak from Oslo. It took about an hour by bus. As the place is not really big, we were able to roam about by foot. The highlights included Santas Post Office, Christmas House, and The Three Mermaids. There weren't that many choices for food though, and we went back to Oslo for our dinner. Overall a pleasant visit to a nice Christmas Town!

“Drobak a very nice village”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2012

We went to Drobak by boat, no. 602 from Aker Brigge. It takes around 1 hour and takes you along the coast where you can see beautiful Norwegian houses. Drobak is a wonderful little village, several places to eat but in particular the Christmas shop must be seen!!! Really wondeful and full of things you would like ... The people there are really special and very kind (I lost my credit card and they help me take it back!!). A very nice place to have some lunch is the little restaurant near the Christmas shop. Shrimps and Salmon are very very nice

Very charming, especially in the summer. Lots of beaches, lots of places to have a beer or a glass of wine
