Both for kids and adults. Very funny. I recomand! It`s not handicap friendly, but all others should try it out..

This is an amazing activity if you visit Oslo during a snowy winter!
Take the metro to Frognerseteren station, approxomatly 30 minutes from city sentre. You rent sleds when you arrive for about 100 kroners.
Bring back the child in you and set off down the hill! The slope is very long and very steep so you will get a real adrenaline rush. It might look a bit scary, but is pretty safe!
When the slope ends you take the metro from Midtstuen station back to Frognerseteren and race again, and again.
Remember to wear ski clothes (no jeans) or you will get very wet and cold. If you for some reason have ski goggles, wear them!

If you happen to be in Oslo during the winter months is the Korketrekkern is a must do day activity. When you are tired of all the historical sights and museums, then give this a try. We took the train out ( you can ask anybody how to get there). It was an easy trip to navigate. We got off, walked down the hill and rented our sleds and helmets and took off for fun. The hill is a long long hill and takes several minutes to get down. Once you get down, you hop on the train and ride up to the top again and start the whole ride over. Your rental lasts until you return it that day. Then you just catch the train back to town. An absoulute blast for kids and adults of all ages...

To slide down Korketrekkeren is a great activity, if you like snow. It's a long run, and you can rent a sled at the top (it runs fast). You slide to the bottom, and take the subway back up.
