“Interesting, but not much to see”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

A small museum, with photos and info on the Nobel Peace Prize winners. Easy to check out with the Oslo Pass, but probably not worth it otherwise.

“Very interesting”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

This won't take long as there are not many rooms. There is a big display on this year's recipients the EU (!!!! my thoughts exactly)
The hall of past winners in very lovely with lots of fading pin point lights and a frame with every winner and why they won. At the end is an interactive time line with video and photos of the ward winners. The shop could be better but they do sell chocolate Nobel medals that make a good gift to take home.
Free entry with the Oslo pass bought from the Tourist Information behind the town hall and 1 minute from the museum.

“A surprise exhibition”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

I was not aware before visiting Stockholm that not all Nobel prizes are awarded in Stocholm. I learnt that the Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo. Consequently, it was enlightening to visit the centre to learn more about this prize. The first floor held a photo exhibition, but the other floor had a room depiction all winners of the Peace Prize from the beginning. It was interesting to see many famous and not so famous people in the room of lights together with their particular interest for which the prize was awarded. The is also an interactive wall which displays the biography of winners and their work on demand.

“Lots of info”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

If you are interested about the world peace, here is a great place to go with quite some exhibition and lots of information.
Just entering the shop for books or goodies is also something if you are less interested or want to read up on the subject on your own time.

“Not as expected, but nice”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

There was a nice photo exhibit on the first floor when I visited. The information about the winners was interactive, but hard to spend too much time on due to the nature of the set up and the other guests wanting time as well. I would have liked to see more information in the luminary room about the winners. Overall, a nice place.
